You know what you want — but the organisation around it costs you time and energy. That's exactly where I come in. Reliable, discreet, and with a clear view of the bigger picture.
Whether behind the scenes or in the middle of the action — I'm where my support makes the most difference.
Some tasks don't need half your attention — they need full focus. I take the day-to-day organisation off your plate so you can concentrate on what truly counts.
A great event is created long before the first guests arrive. I guide you from the initial idea to the final thank-you — ensuring nothing is left to chance in between.
No lengthy back-and-forth — pick the package that fits, or we'll find the right solution together.
For one-off projects, ad-hoc support, or if you'd like to see how we work together first.
For those who need regular support and want a reliable point of contact they can count on.
For those who want a dedicated partner who thinks ahead, shapes outcomes, and is truly present — every month, without fail.
You have an event in mind and want someone to truly take care of it — from the first idea to the last guest.
It started with variety theatre — and the realisation that great events are never a coincidence. What followed were years in backstage and production management, before the world of cruise entertainment came calling. At AIDA Cruises, I led culinary entertainment at an international level: Tim Mälzer, Stefan Marquard, event voyages and special projects were my world. A chapter that shapes me still — quality is made behind the scenes.
I moved into Executive Assistance at AIDA and developed it further at CVA. Understanding processes, analysing workflows, improving structures — for me, this isn't a means to an end, it is the work itself. Relieving leadership, completing tasks before they're even named, motivating teams — that's what I mean by real assistance.
In 2026, my family and I moved to East Tyrol — a place we have a deep connection with and that represents a true new beginning. That move was also the moment to translate my experience and passion into something of my own. Deskwerk is the result.
Working with Katharina Laufer, I implemented some of the most demanding projects of my time at AIDA — including the development of concepts with Tim Mälzer and Stephan Marquard. What stood out: Katharina understands both worlds. As the interface between entertainment and the galley, she shaped communication across departments so that everyone pulled in the same direction. The commissioning of AIDA Prima and the planning of the naming ceremony were high-pressure projects with many stakeholders — Katharina provided direction and saw things through to completion. She is someone who drives complex undertakings forward with structure.
I worked with Katharina Laufer as Theatre Manager on board for three months — and found a colleague I could truly rely on. In a work environment that demands flexibility, precision and leadership simultaneously every day, she always delivered. What sets Katharina apart is her ability to coordinate complex operations under pressure — with a clear head, structure and real commitment to her team. She doesn't just keep daily operations running; she thinks in the medium and long term. Bringing guests and crew onto the same page is no small feat on a ship — Katharina handled it with ease. I recommend her without reservation for any role requiring organisation, event management and strategic thinking at a high level.
Katharina Laufer was my Executive Assistant at CVA — and she took on that role with genuine ownership from day one. No waiting, no pushing back: she took charge and got things done. What makes her especially valuable is her versatility. Whether accounting, recruiting or office management — Katharina is the Swiss army knife you need in a dynamic environment. She moves between tasks without losing the thread, and brings an attitude that positively influences the entire team. If you're looking for an assistant who thinks ahead, rolls up her sleeves and keeps a positive outlook even in turbulent times — Katharina is the right person.
Katharina Laufer supported me for three years as Executive Assistant — and in that time she was far more than an assistant. She kept all the threads together, structured my day-to-day and showed an instinct for priorities that simply can't be taught. What impressed me most: Katharina didn't just work reactively; she initiated and drove her own cross-departmental projects — independently, reliably and with the sensitivity required for a media company. She brings exactly what the role demands — and delivers.
You don't need to have everything figured out — sometimes just the feeling that support would help is enough. Get in touch and we'll take it from there.
